Yoga & Massage
Namaste, I’m Amy and I offer Accessible Yoga Classes aimed to support those with physical and/or mental health issues.
I tailor the classes to the needs of the students, creating a safe environment to explore and learn, so anyone can take part in the practices no matter what their ability.
I also offer 90 minute Intuitive and Holistic Massage therapy sessions; this time period allows you to enter a deeper state of relaxation and gives me more time to work on those areas that need more attention.
Online classes will be available soon for those who’d prefer a home practice.
An introduction from Amy
Accessible Yoga
The offering of yoga that I have to share blends the heart of yogic philosophical teachings focussing on a yin based approach in order to support people who are trying to heal from mental and/or physical health issues.
I want to teach others how to listen to & trust themselves, to become their own teachers; to learn about, love, accept and nurture themselves. Connecting with ourselves and to the world around us as it is and not how we want it to be, acceptance, - to connect with the seasonal wisdom, embracing and celebrating the different energies of the seasons and in ourselves, emotional work derived from the Chakra system, physical practise we know to be of benefit from scientific research and so much more!
All this ultimately helps us to better serve ourselves and connect deeper and more happily with our friends, partners, family members, communities and life in general!
There is so much more to yoga than full extension of poses and perfect instagram photos!
It is a lifestyle, a way of being, a practise of gratitude, awareness, presence and kindness; a choice to choose love over fear, a way to keep your physical body and mind healthy and moving.

Amy is an amazing and natural teacher. Her passion for yoga is evident as she makes us all feel "seen" as she cares for each and every one of our needs in the class.
Intuitive Massage
As with yoga, my massage therapy is yin-based: being receptive to who or what is before me. I’m not going to do a massage at you – I’m going to work with your body and take a more relaxational approach to easing out the tension.
Don’t get me wrong, I use deep tissue techniques but my approach allows for your body to show me the way, where the tension or trauma is being stored and how to gently release it rather than forcing it out.
I can also suggest yoga postures, exercises or chakra work if that’s something that interests you to help with re-occuring long term pain or issues.

About Amy
I’ve lived with a multitude of mental and physical health issues my entire life; depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, PTSD, trauma, and the loss of my father just a few years ago. Suffering and learning how to manage and cope with suffering became a key focus of exploration in my life.
When I moved to Bristol in 2015 I found a local yoga class with Gladey Rowan and my life changed forever. I cried during every class for the first few months, as memories and feelings surfaced and I was being taught how to become aware, how to love & unblock myself; mind, body & soul. Her classes were pure love and when I realised that, I knew this is what I had to do. I realised my capacity to love IS my strength, and healing myself and sharing what I’ve learned with others would be my path.
I wanted to be of service, to support people with health issues, like myself. Yoga has so many healing qualities that people with mental or physical health issues miss out on due to under-representation in the yoga community.
As my journey continues I realise I am not just teaching yoga in a traditional l way; I am creating safe spaces to explore yogic concepts, the science of anatomy & physiology, the practices and more in an open but held environment so that people can ask questions, we can discuss and build a community where people can really learn all the many benefits yoga has to offer and not just copying the teacher in a sequence of physical postures.
I am so grateful for this challenging and rewarding journey - if you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to contact me.
With Love & Blessings, Namaste
Beneath the clouds of emotion that may be disturbing you now an essential purity still exists; that is your ‘Self’, the true nature of you. Learn to control your mind and not be ruled by it, instead live in peace and be lead by your Self.
